Maria Brandon Retires after 21 Years of Service

BPI Color

Dear BPI Friends,

I wanted to share a note to announce and recognize the retirement of Maria Brandon from the BPI Color Family. Most customers and fellow employees don’t know that Maria joined the BPI team in 1999 as a receptionist/administrative assistant! Prior to that Maria had been in the printing industry working with the software of the day. By joining BPI she knew she could advance her career path and be only 4 miles from home and her beloved labs “Cooper and Oscar”.

During her first five years at BPI Maria recognized the growth in our equipment and related service business. She asked to transition her position to serve that growing customer base by improving our customer support. Because of her customer service orientation and attention to detail, Maria took on the service contract business like no one ever had. Creating new processes and spreadsheets allowed her to serve hundreds of customers instead of dozens! In a few years post the Great Recession, Maria was integral in the expansion of our equipment repair business. Today this business is driven by what is known as our Cost Per Copy Partnerships (CPC). Currently the BPI CPC program provides monthly support to hundreds of partners including the management of the consumable requirements for dozens of different machines. On top of that, Maria captures all of the monthly meter readings and distributes accurate invoices to hundreds of partners for machines all over the country.

Suffices to say, Maria Brandon has been here as the BPI Color team has grown from a small reactive service provider in Wisconsin to a professional proactive partner to hundreds of large format equipment partners now in 7 Midwestern states plus Washington, California, New York, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Texas. So, we are thrilled and very thankful to have had Maria on our Team and for being an integral part of our growth for the last 21 Short years!

Maria, we know you will enjoy the next chapter of your life with Tim in the wonderful community of Baileys Harbor….BUT remember, if you every want to come back just knock on the front door or as you have for the last 21 years use your key!!
